Castle Care is a privately owned Domiciliary Care agency in Rossendale, Lancashire. It is owned and run by Mrs Helen Hopkinson and Mrs Jessica Naylor, Jessica is the Registered Provider and Helen is the Registered Manager. Castle Care has been running for over ten years and we have a good reputation within the local community.

Castle Care Domiciliary Support Services provide a range of care services to vulnerable adults, adults with learning disabilities, adults with mental or physical disabilities and adults with terminal illness. The services range from full personal care i.e. help with getting up and dressed to taking them shopping.

We have a variety of staff of different ages and backgrounds. Over 60% of our staff have either started or completed NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, a further 18% have either started or completed NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care. In addition, Helen Hopkinson has a NVQ Level 4 in Care and an NVQ Level 5 in Management. At Castle Care we have a continual training policy which means are staff are up to date on current practices in other areas such as Food Hygiene, Moving and Handling, First Aid, Medication Awareness, Palliative Care, Dementia Care, Care of a Stroke Patient and Health and Safety to name just a few.

We are registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection and fully comply with the Care Standards Act 2000. We are also a Preferred Provider of Lancashire County Council and we have achieved the Investors in People award for the past six years. All of the above organisations continually monitor our performance, which ensures the highest standard of quality.
