Castle Care look after many different types of people, quite often we look after service users for a substantial amount of time whether this be months or years. The care and dedication showed by our staff over this period of time is highly appreciated by both the service users and their families. I am writing to inform you on a subject which concerns me very much, I am a victim of MS and for the past fourteen years I have been confined to a wheelchair, for the first years I was quite independent but, there came a time when I needed some assistance.

To whom it May Concern

I first came into contact with Castle Care in August 1999 when I employed them to care for my parents who are both now in their eighties and in ill health.

It was immediately apparent that all the carers attempted to forge relationships with them rather than simply providing a service. This resulted in my parents trusting and befriending people other than our immediate family for the first time. My mother in particular looked forward to her daily conversations with her carer.

Every member of the Castle Care staff who have worked for us have been honest, reliable and punctual and of the highest standards of cleanliness. They are extremely scrupulous in completing their logbook daily detailing all tasks undertaken even down to the moods and health of my parents. This alone has been a godsend to our family in terms of monitoring their condition.

I am the first to admit that my parents are difficult at the best of times, however the carers seem to take it in their stride and simply get on with their tasks in their usual polite manner.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Castle Care to anyone requiring assistance and do so in complete confidence that it will result in yet another satisfied customer.

Dear Ladies of Castle Care

Just a quick note to say thanks to you all for the care and kindness you gave to my mum.

As you already know, she was admitted to hospital on Monday 13th February, in a last effort to get some fluids into her system. Even though she was put onto a drip, blood tests showed that further efforts would have been futile and would have merely prolonged the inevitable. However, I will never forget the remarks made by Dr Susan Powell at Fairfield hospital on that Monday evening. She said having examined your mother, it is obvious to me that she has been immaculately cared for’.

The consultant who telephoned me on the Tuesday evening after she returned home expressed similar sentiments. He said that having viewed mums medical records, history and condition, he was just amazed that she had survived so long after the stroke and again, this could only be attributable to the high level of care which had been noted by himself and other members of staff attending my mum.

I’m very happy that I took the decision to look after mum at home. I don’t think she would have been as well cared-for anywhere else.

So again I would like to thank you all at Castle Care. We couldn’t have managed without you!
